Just your typical sprite feedback topic. With the exception of some crappy maps I threw together to practice map insertion into a rom, this is the first custom map where I've tried to make it look nice. In retrospect, I prolly shoulda started with a smaller map with less mountains seeing as how this took forever to make

If you do plan on possibly using it, just remember it's definitely more of a lategame map. Although right now I think the map is a bit too linear, I could probably cut a path through the western mountains.

Very well done, yo. Better than anything I could do.
Only gripe I have is the bottom-right village having weird grass tiles in the front. You might want to get rid of the bright grass around those.

Nice mountains lol

I would say the only thing you could fix right now is some light grass cutoffs, which are by the bridge, below the armory, and the bottom of the village. Use the transition tiles (all of the light grass tiles but the 100% light grass ones) to fix those.

Right now I'm still thinking about cutting a path through the western mountains in order to reduce linearity. (for gameplay reasons)

1. Yes I think it is a good idea

2. WOW O_O. If this is your first map then you should join the map contests to get better. The only errors I see are in the mountains and I think that the stairs might be 1 tile too high/long. Not completely sure though.

So indoor map first. It's pretty good, there aren't any height errors, though it is a bit open. Maybe if you added some pillars? The floor also looks kinda boring maybe if you changed the middle floor to a criss cross pattern (I'm not really sure how to express this, the word escapes me).

Outdoor map looks better, I think you fixed the height error. I don't really have any critique for it, though the mountains have some in the wrong places.
