This morning I wrote up a little program for Vance to use for Forum Emblem to quickly roll a level up for a character, after having the Growth Rates stored. After making it I figured it might actually be really useful for people wanting to test Growth Rates for a hack, so I decided to post it here and see if people were actually interested in it.
v1.1 - Changed "Forum Emblem" to "Fire Emblem" for general release.
HOW TO LEVEL UPPER
1 Add Characters
With the Add command, enter the character's name as prompted and then their growth rates. Due to Forum Emblem having the Strength and Magic stats split I have left it as such, so if you want one and no the other, make it's growth rate be "0" and you'll never get a stat up for it.
2. Level Up
Once a character is added, it will appear as a file in the same directory as the program. In Level Upper, just type the character's name as you had set it when you made it and then BOOM, it gives you a mock-level up for that character.
And Lastly: THIS PROGRAM IS VERY SIMPLE AND ROUGH. DON'T ENTER THINGS LONGER THAN 25 CHARACTERS LONG OR YOU'LL PROBABLY HAVE A BAD TIME.
That's just about everything. Have fun. If people actually like this and think it's useful, I might try and snazzy it up if I have the time.
Also, yes. This is named after Level Upper from A Certain Scientific Railgun.
